Description:
The owners of 557 8 Avenue recognized their vault required repairs. In accordance with DOB regulations, we filed applications at the DOT to permit sidewalk reconstruction and vault repairs. This project was located on a busy intersection making phasing difficult for contractors as pedestrian traffic required both sidewalk and lane closings. Vault work requires special DOT compliance. The project was also located near the A,C,E train, which required MTA approval.
Ann’s unparalleled DOT experience allowed her to work closely with the contractor to develop a phasing plan in compliance with DOT standards.
